"Our Lady of Protection" Print

We are entering a time when the presence of a protective icon will be essential. This is Our Lady of Protection—a guardian adorned with ancient apotropaic symbols, long used to ward off negativity and shield against harm.

Around her neck hangs the cimaruta, a potent talisman of protection. In her hand, she holds a radiant shield, while rosemary—the herb of protection—sprouts to her left. To her right hangs the flower of protection and the double-bladed axe, symbols of strength and defense.

Her dress is adorned with sacred symbols: the scorpion, serpent, spiral, and the Marian emblem of protection. Above her, the crescent moon and star lend their blessings.

Her crowned head speaks to her divine authority, while her nose ring—an ancient symbol of feminine power—reminds us of her unyielding strength. She is both fierce and sacred, a beacon of safety in uncertain times.

Originally created with acrylic & Terra di Colori paints. Your print will be signed and numbered by Gail, then carefully rolled and sent in a cardboard tube. Frame not included. Note cards are blank inside and come with a kraft envelope.
